The Duchess of Rothesay visited Rosslyn Chapel on 8 May to open our new visitor centre. She was entertained by the National Youth Choir of Scotland. The National Boys Choir performed a new piece, The Rosslyn Psalm, by Howard Goodall, which was commissioned by Lady Helen Rosslyn for her husband, to mark this special day. After the performance, the party moved into the new visitor centre to meet representatives of the community. Her Royal Highness then unveiled a commemorative plaque.

The Rosslyn Chapel Organ has been refurbished over the past 18 months, and the video below shows the process behind this refurbishment.  Introduced by the man responsible for this project,  Neil Richerby from Lammermuir Organs.

The metal canopy over Rosslyn Chapel was removed during July/August 2010.  The video below uses time-lapse photography to show viewers some of the work involved.
